In short - Lou loves working with people. She is an educator, trainer and facilitator who works with young people and adults on personal leadership, wellbeing and resilience, and how to embrace failure. The work on failure has arisen out of response to the discourse about developing resilience in school and workplaces - Lou posits that the conversation about recognising failure is missing from this discourse and is a necessary piece.
Lou works with people in groups because of the dynamic community that is created when people come together. Her work often focuses on cultural change and leadership at an organisational level, but always starts with the individual. She is currently a Tutor and Topic Coordinator in the College of Education, Psychology and Social Work at Flinders University, and a trainer for the Wellbeing and Resilience Centre at SAHMRI.
